State Fires
Watching the news this morning, there are a bunch of fires going around the state.
Some cities/counties have cancelled fireworks.
My neighbor usually shoots off his own fireworks, I wonder if he’ll cancel his show this year. Last year he shot one off from his hand and was surprised that it hurt.

I get to hear planes flying over head today.
I kinda enjoy that sound.

So my folks got Netflix yesterday. Upon looking for movies they want to watch, they can’t find anything they like.
Good thing Netflix has a month free thing going on.
I attempt to help them… but with them being that many thousands of miles away? Not much help.

I’m generally not a comic book reader… or as the “hip” kids call them “graphic novels”.
But when I saw the Star Trek comics from 1968 to 2002 all on CDs in PDF format? For under 14 dollars? I went for it. Had to. I mean come on… that’s a lot of comics.
If it wasn’t trek? eh I wouldn’t have done it.

I just have to laugh. ‘cause they’re funny. People hate the book. It’s just sooo funny.
Yet the lady who wrote the book? She’s making money of it.
Not only did she write one sucky story, she wrote 2 more after it.
